Retrieving Your Anchor

Here we have collected a variety of videos showing various solutions to retrieving your anchor in both normal circumstances and when the anchor gets stuck!

We find that a thin tripping line connected with electrical tape works well for us but there are many solutions available that will work for your particular set up.

Mantus anchors can be disassembled for easy storage so you can very easily keep a spare – we have and M1 and a dinghy on anchor on the Adventure 600. The dinghy anchor with about 3m of chain holds it very well in most conditions regardless, but we keep it as the spare and for when we need to anchor the stern or have a secondary for particular conditions.
